Tombstone, Arizona, November 1st & 2nd – This year Sonrise Sport Aviation is holding a fly-in to benefit The Wounded Marines Program and the Tombstone Food Bank.  The event is held at the Tombstone Municipal Airport just 3 miles south of Tombstone on Hwy 80. The admission is a cash donation to help the soldiers wounded in Iraq or non-perishable food items for the Tombstone Food Bank. Times are Saturday 7 a.m. till 4 p.m. and Sunday 7 a.m. till noon.

Approximately 50 planes of all sizes are expected, including ultralights, experimental, general aviation, and light sport aircraft.  There will be lots of food and drink provided by the Wild West Detachment Marine Corps. League of Tombstone.   Entertainers at the airport this year, to name a few will be, Madison Walker (Buffalo Soldier) True Tales Of The Old West, Nickel Nancy, and Texas Kate Show. Prizes will be raffled, including a Harley replica youth motorcycles, to benefit the Wounded Marines Program and the Tombstone Food Bank.  After all the planes have landed and judging of the aircraft has taken place, the festivities will move into Tombstone for dinner and entertainment including the Krysis Band at Six Gun City restaurant from 5 p.m. till 9 p.m. (Reservations are required in advance).  Shuttle service will be provided to and from Tombstone for a small fee.
