Scenic Tours

Sonrise Sport Aviation offers tours of the historical sites in and around Tombstone as part of your Intro Flight. Take a sightseeing flight over the ghost towns of Charleston, Courtland, Gleeson, Pearce and Fairbank. Take a scenic flight over the San Pedro Riparian and see ruins of places such as Bruncow's cabin (the bloodiest cabin in Arizona, 24+ people killed), old missions and forts as well as the lush vegetation produced by the San Pedro River. A flight is also available to view the grave of Johnny Ringo at the foot of the Chiricahua Mountains. You will be able to fly the aircraft and the time will be logged in your own personal log book and will count towards your certification should you decide to continue with your lessons.

Costs: Average flight times to see the historical sites is 1 hour at a cost of $75 per hour.
